Power mosfet bidirectional switch3/12/2024 I would think at this point the common source gets pulled up to that 12V through the 10K resistor, as it’s normally floating? But then how does the V_gs become > 0 for either mosfet? Turning ON the low-side switch at the bottom of the circuit would just divide the voltage at the gate terminals to 0.01 * V_aux right? Which I assume the common source will also get pulled up to. Say A is 6V, B is 0V = GND, so the Charge Pump (V_aux) outputs 12V. What is the voltage at the common source node between the two mosfets? ![]() The principle under “Basic Functioning Details” makes sense, as well as the p-channel mosfet circuit, but I’m having trouble understanding the n-channel mosfet circuit under “Using N-Channel MOSFETS” (image linked below). ![]() I’m trying to understand the bidirectional switch circuit in this post
